It's because 3rd-and-Chavis was replaced by 3rd-and-Crowton.

So you want him to leave and go where ?

Where did I say I want him to leave? I simply believe if he would have gone to another college he would be touching the ball a lot more

i keep telling people to look at his highlights from last year on youtube. Pretty much all of it is him running the read/speed option and doing a much better job of it than our other QB's

Actually he ran very little read/speed option, if any last year.

He basically just took direct snaps and ran right up the middle. There wasn't handoffs or option pitches involved.

Nothing is surprising me anymore with these kinds of stats. Crowton has this amazing ability to single out the best players on offense and find creative ways to make them less and less involved. That is what is so frustrating about this offense, we know we have good players, it's the person responsible for whatever scheme we are running that is screwing us. The fact that our coaches cannot find a way to get Shepard more involved is proof they are completley incompetent and totally stubborn when running this offense. I feel for Shepard, he would have made a much bigger impact at a school with better offensive coaching.

In the Georgia game Shepard ran the read option from the QB position. He got at least 6 yards each time, I believe he even got a 20 yard gain at one point. We never saw this again.

He is a true sophomore playing with two of the worst QB in college football. He dropped a few passes but how many times did we watch JJ throw it over his head, at his feet, behind him, etc.
When he has the ball in space, he is electric. Just like Randle.
The problem is, WE HAD NO ONE TO GET HIM OR RANDLE THE BALL IN SPACE.
Hopefully, Mettenberger will do that.

I don't want RS to leave but he would have been much more productive at another school where he would have gotten a lot more touches. Les or GC has wasted another great player.

I really dont think Crowton is the problem, i think Les is the problem because he overrides crowton more than 90 percent of the time. Sure wish Shep would throw at least one pass, maybe were just saving it for the right game..

Yes he is.

First, How do you know this?
Second, if your offensive coordinator just led the 112th ranked offense in the country, wouldn't you get more involved? Hell, I don't think Miles is involved enough with this moron at OC.
