I don't know man, I could maybe believe it if it weren't for his dad and brother. I've heard a few different things on that front including Cam Cameron telling them one thing but not sticking to his word during his recruitment. And I assume Shea is still friends with several LSU players like Devin White, Drake Davis, and Greedy.

If anyone would have the real scoop on this it would probably be Jimmy Smith but I'm not sure he would divulge anything.

The fricking board cracks me up. Don’t want Shea but accepted Mettenburger with opens arms. Last time I checked Patterson has never been arrested

Thoughts: Sting Ray is a frickin dumbass who is trying to gain relevancy any way he can. Also, if you don’t want Shea Patterson, you’re a fricking idiot

Not saying he's not a good qb but you're a "fricking idiot " for not knowing the back story. One year of him playing is not worth the risk. Know your shite before you come on here acting like have a clue!

I like LSU’s QB situation for next season. I would pass on Shea.

LSU literally threw his brother's belongings to the curb. LSU wants nothing to do with that family

If Shea wants to come here LSU is in no position to turn their nose up at him.

The one where we likely will have 2 scholarship QB’s? Jesus Christ this board is full of morons.

McMillian hasn’t traveled to most of the away games, he’s likely transferring.

We missed on Fields and Rogers. Going into ‘18 we’re going to have Brennan and Narcisse (who has had 2 serious knee injuries and hasn’t played in an actual football game in close to 3 years now). It looks like we’re going to land the 3* kid from Bama that’s been committed to Missouri. Bama and Auburn don’t want him.

And y’all want to turn away Shea fuching Patterson?

Jesus Christ.

With you on this. I think Patterson is the most talented QB in college FB right now but we have Brennan who by all accounts is considered an NFL level talent. With the headache he’d possibly bring plus the young talent we have on the roster I’ll go with a soft pass.

You don’t know what the term literal means.

Sure they are. Brennan and Narcisse are both Freshman. I'd rather those guys play than let Shea use LSU for a year to declare for the draft immediately. Additionally, he has to sit out a year as it stands now. So what, are we going to tell Brennan or Narcisse, "y'all compete for the jobs this year, but Shea is coming and will start the following." No, we don't need that sort of drama and wouldn;t be better for it either.

His backup is probably as good. Shea is a turnover machine.

If Shea declared for the draft early then he lit it up here. So yeah, I’d absolutely take that.

You tell them what you tell EVERY other scholarship player on roster- you have to compete for your job EVERY year. The best man will win.

Once he signs whoever gets him has the leverage. Ole miss sanctions just an out. What can they do? I don't see a problem if the staff likes him as a qb. But I'm fine with Myles and Lowell. I feel good about one of them stepping up and improving qb play.
