They beat #14 Virginia Tech pretty bad, but I am sure you won't acknowledge that since they are not an SEC team.
Number 1, they didnt beat va tech before making it to a bcs bowl, which is what my post said, ie they beat zero ranked teams to get to a bcs bowl.
Number 2, have you ever actually looked at Va Tech's record against ranked teams? dismal doesnt begin to describe it.

As for our conference.....is it our fault that USCW got caught cheating cause they are always a ranked team. Do we want our conference teams to be better......yes, but apparently we are good enough for LSU to schedule us. So I think things are looking up.
I didnt say it was your fault. Merely that things are looking up for you not because of recruiting or some kind of weird "attention", but because of weak competition.

I mean, my god, you had to beat one good team last year to make it to the championship. Stnford did not beat a single ranked team and made it to a bcs bowl.
No that is exactly what you said....if I misreda your intentions then I apologize and understand what you meant to say.

That does not define our program. Their no huddle playstation offense and crazy uniforms are what define their program. Just like Boise had to put in the crazy turf to make a name UO had to wear "those wacky uniforms" to stand out. They couldnt stand out on the field regularly so they had to pull out a gimmick to get some attention. I look forward to putting this gimmick team that represents a gimmick program back on the west coast.
I'm guessing you think the shotgun is a gimmick too. Its called evolution which I know many people have a hard time grasping, but hings change. The game of football has come a long way since it's beginnings and will continue to change. Oregon isn't the first team to run a spread

but most are not going to give a rats arse about changing uniform style every week, some of them just gawd awful.
Who do you think has input on the design options and chooses the uniforms for the week? It's the players. Almost every single recruit that is interview about Oregon talks about how much they love how Oregon handles their uniforms.

The key to their success is Chelly, and his enormous brain.

The great Virginia tech team that lost to James Madison? He must have forgot all about them

Lol at any Oregonean touting the hottness of their own women. As one who has spent many many months in Oregon. My business partner lives in Vancouver wash. So I know Portland and mt Hood, sandy Eugene Ashland etc and I can say without a doubt Oregon has sprouted trolls on a level on par w Gollum. Hint its never sunny it rains 24 7 and people sit around eat drink and have kids
All the blondes are imports all the UO cheerleader are imports and are ringers hired by Nike's marketing whatnots
Often driving from Portland to mt hood I would see some local walk from the inside of the woods across the highway and back into the black woods on the other side and.disappear obviously on some back wood neighbours trail
don't buy into the propaganda the women in the south destroy the best Oregon has to offer
Considering E and I are no where near each other on the keyboard it's most likely you don't know how to spell Oregonian, which makes me question the truth of your statement. My guess is that you've been to Oregon but really don't have the credentials to give an unbiased opinion. In my mind this is fairly obvious considering I have actually lived in both places and believe you to be wrong. LA has a lot of beautiful women but so does Oregon.

Understood, but fads will only take you so far.
And I imagine at one time some one would have said the same thing to an LSU fan.

Since thought crime has taken place, I might as well aid and abet. Even as a longtime Louisiana native, I can pretty much guarantee that Oregon has a lot of pretty women. It is the Northwest of America, one of the many places in America where legions of pretty liberals lead the flight to avoid the fruits of their liberalism, for the short term. Now, the soft Southern accents certainly add a lot to the charm of our women.
The Ducks should get rid of their cartoon mascot. This is not meant as a put-down; Oregon is a fine team. The mascot is inconsistent with Oregon's ability and with human thinking. No one has met a duck to be feared. Gosh, with all the fauna that the huge state of Oregon has, Oregon could come up with a better mascot. Auburn wants to get rid of Tigers in favor of War Eagle, a much better mascot than a defenseless duck. So it is not a disrespectful goal.
