First, I had forgotten how strange that game was. Weird leadup to the game with Miles announcing that he is not going to Michigan and also odd in the way it played out. LSU racks up 450 yards - with a nice pass/run balance - and can only manage 13 offensive points? A really nice defensive effort by a unit that had been cuffed around in the second half of the season.

Second, was this perhaps Luke Sanders' best game as a Tiger?

Didn't we get within the 10 twice early and had to settle for field goals? I remember thinking we could have blown that game wide open early but failed, much like the Arkansas game.

Red zone efficiency was not good. We also missed a relatively short FG right before the half. Trindon also had a fumble that killed a drive (tough fumble - he actually had one of his lineman's butts hit the ball as he was rocketing through the hole). In many ways, you could say the Tigers should/could have won handily and in other ways, we were lucky to keep from losing.
