one scenario would be if the head-to-head game did not get played due to hurricane, national crisis (9/11), or another Act of God, and it was not able to be re-scheduled.

a 2nd scenario would be if the game had to be called due to inclement weather, power outage, who knows.... and I guess it would have to either be tied at the time or so early that the SEC rules to just eliminate the game from results.
