hey AlejandroInHouston, you leave us "more seasoned" people alone. we brought you into this world, clothed, fed and educated you and by god we have earned the right to watch inferior TV if we want to!

Or what about Georgia?

I don't understand how people who think there is some homecooking conspiracy because of it being in Birmingham also think that the problem will be solved just by moving the place.

The only possibility would be to have the NCAA step in and run D1 officiating from their central office and rotate crews on a non regional basis. Having conference affiliated officials makes no sense anyway. the fact that you have to bring in outside conference officials for bowl games tells you all you need to know about what they perceive as the potential for homecooking.

It has nothing to do with HD.... It has everything to do with who needs to win that game...

The SEC office being in Birmingham menas that everyone that works there is likely a bama fan because Birmingham is a bama city. At least if it was in a city like Atlanta, the people being employed by the office would be from all over the country. Atlanta is more of a melting pot of people from around the country and their would be less bias when dealing with conference issues if the people being employed by the office were not made up of one school's fan base.

There ar elot sof funny jokes on here, but I think this makes a huge difference in whether or not they get the call right

I can't understand the recent "replay system not working" I've seen on college and pro games. Wouldn't you think they could have a TV feed as a backup. During reviews the possible replay angles are shown on TV over and over and over...
