Seriously?? Maybe the fact he has absolutely no experience in a personnel position. But in the other thread, someone said it’s a development position, not personnel, which I think KF will be great in. And how does it look like I’m bummed over this? the name GM is a misnomer. they are really recruiting coordinators and handle the administration details with recruiting. I have heard that Thomas also did some evaluation legwork and I know he was allowed to actually recruit when we were short a coach.
he apparently was a very organized and likeable guy and was an asset in his job. I think he got a little too big for his britches, thought he was worth more than he was. going to UT seemed to be a knee jerk reaction and it ended poorly for him.
in any event, LSU should have zero problem in finding a replacement that is just as good.
