agreed..hope you don't have to give up your tickets, man....if I were you, I'd sell them and buy some cheaper ones in one of the uppers or something like that....shouldn't really be much of a problem....

if nothing else, just put them on the ticket exchange to trade for some other tickets plus cash...

Thing is my favorite part of going is the people around us. I watched there kids go through high school and LSU and me. Thats the hardest part. I love LSU football but somethings change, the biggest is money. I hope somebody with some pull or connections can pass to the Athletic dept. to build an upper deck in one end zone split it to season ticket no taf and weekly game tickets. The attendance my not be that high all the time but we owe it to the tiger fans that can pay these prices with where we are economically. Geaux Tigers.

At $950 per seat plus the cost of tickets, I think we're up to about $175 per ticket per game. Many longtime Tiger fans are jumping ship and watching on television. I can't afford $700 per game for my family plus $4 for every 16oz bottle of water. Corporations will buy the tickets and give them away. Their customers are mildly interested and stay til bored with the game. They AREN'T fans! This is why Tiger Stadium is 70% empty in the 3rd quarter,...

This is definitely happening. EVERY single game last season there were different people all around me (except for the 1 guy right next to me who has had the seats since the 50s). Game after game it was different people to the left, in front and behind me and almost all of them had absolutely no interest in the football game being played. This one lady to my immediate left read a freaking book during the Auburn game. Nearly all of these people left by the third quarter for almost every game. Pathetic. Thats how you can tell that many of those people didn't pay money for those seats. My arse is staying the entire time for the amount of money those seats cost me.

Might have to give mine up. No job. It was already tight before but now, almost impossible to come up with the money.

Hang in there brother, I have a friend that hasn't missed a game in 4 years and he doesn't have tickets. Picks them up at face, or below, every game. He has never missed a single play and the band coming out. Last year, he paid $10 for Vandy tickets.

Uhhh you do remember WHY they started that 3 years ago right?? Because they said they had to pay for Miles' raise was part of what triggered all this.

This sucks hard...I'll be honest though before I was a student the most I've ever paid for a game is $10. It was awesome being a cute little kid haha. Often times people would hand me tickets. I can't imagine how bad it's going to suck 4 years from now when I'm out of grad school and actually have to buy tickets at regular price...
