I don’t see the reason why people get so bent out of shape about it. The students love it the players love it and it’s funny! Pretty much everyone I’ve ever talked to about it old and young think it’s awesome! Stuff like that gets recruits to come to the school!

Then why do the students do something they know the team doesnt want them to do?

From these threads popping up so much you would think playing this song must be the most crucial thing going on in LSU football these days.

It won’t insure a win and there won’t be any students left by the 4th Q.

This consent dribble about Neck is moronic.

They didn't still it, it was never designated only for Southern, however Southern wrote and played it years before LSU and it could never be duplicated the way Southern plays it.... the Human Jukebox, often imitated but never duplicated

It's a simple equation:
A) Cursing during the band's rendition of "Neck" = no more Neck
B) Not cursing during rendition = band plays it more often.

These are the rules that LSU has set up. You can debate the rules emotionally behind your keyboard, but it's not going to change them. Everyone in the stadium gets to choose, but if the vocal minority choose A), then none of us get to hear it often and Grant Delpit is left wondering why on twitter.

Not sure how true but WBRZ had a report on their Facebook page last night that someone with LSU said there is No Chance that Neck is played tomorrow.
