Savion will absolutely not have a better career than BJ Ojulari. Glad he’s on our team, but BJ is a lot more elite than our fans give him credit for. He’s going to be a great pro.

That’s not a knock on Jones, either. BJ had some holes in his game, especially vs the run, in his first two seasons. He’s a pretty complete rush end/rush OLB now. He’s been excellent against the run this year and can be an every down player in the NFL. He is already that at the highest level in college football.

As several have pointed out, Jones will play a different role and should be great in that role based on what we’ve seen this season.

So with BJ going pro and Saivion having to step up do you think he will have similar ability? Everything I’ve seen jumps off the screen. The guy seems like an all conference end and he plays hard.

Met his family after the Florida game by chance in a Denny's an hour away in Lake City. Really awesome folks. :csb:

Savion isn't going to be as quick nor quite as dominant as Ojulari but he's big, strong and capable.

And with Maason Smith on the field with him, he'll get plenty opportunities to shine.

Jones will have a batter career than Gaye.
