Look, we all know what kind of game this is going to be. McNeese barely beat 1st year team Lamar at home. The size, speed, and talent of LSU is going to make this a cakewalk.
My question is-What do we see from the offensive staff?
As good as he's been, I really think we need to have JLee in the game to master his timing with receivers, and work all the "kinks" out so hes 100% ready for a top 10 match-up. I also think we need to work on our screens/swing passes/bubble screens, the type of plays that will open up the running game instead of the JJ read option.

no reason to show anything from the playbook. I want to see J Lee hand the ball off to Ford all night long.
Ridley doesn't need to risk injury.

Im not saying show the playbook. Just practice (in game speed)the things that have already been shown and get them to a point of 2nd nature so they can be executed when the big boys come callin.

It'll be a good time to turn lee and jefferson loose, one or two deep passes a series. Let Ridley get is 120 yards, and then sit him. Let the D dominate and pile on numbers. I take a night class at McNeese and one of the football players last night jokingly guaranteed victory.

agreed steauxn just run the same plays we have run with 1st string guys the first and second quarter and let JJ get the clean up time and Ford get the carries in the second half

I think we see:
1) a lot of running early to get a lead and establish our dominance
2) the QBs split about 25-30 pass attempts to keep Lee in rhythm and try to help JJ regain his passing touch/ confidence
3) Ford/ Ware spell Ridley as much as possible

I would like to see Les let Ford Blue and other freshman run the ball & get some experience. Also turn loose JJ & JL!

I'd like to see LSU win the game with no one hurt. Anything else is gravy.

I imagine it's gonna be the JJ starts/ Lee comes in around the 3rd series rotation, but he's not said

I say run the QB option every play with JJ...
Maybe he will be too tired to play much against Auburn...
Ok..that was harsh...I like JJ getting some series...but just not as many as J Lee.

i look for a big lead to be built by half and nothing but handoffs the entire second half

I'd also love to see a heavy dose of Ford.
I cant wait to see the Tigers get some frustration out on the cowdudes.
