Whats the word on Tolliver? Heard he suffered another concussion and is likely done.

Thanks for the report. I'll second Dodd's request - Shep do anything?

Yeah, I remember all the upset folks last spring after the spring game, and scrimmages.

i was really impressed with JJ's footwork, seems to me he is getting faster and making some good cuts outside the pocket when he scrambles. I think he actually outran his pitchman on one of the options they ran today

shep did play, really wasn't a factor. to me it looks like he is having trouble getting separation from the dbs, he did have one ball that went through his hands

Shep looked like Shep from last year. Couple nice YAC after bubble screens, but not much of a presence in the downfield passing game. He did drop a nice pass from JJ (a touch pass, believe it or not), and he might've dropped a nice dart from Mett on a 12 yard out, but I think that was Wright or Boone.

also anthony johnson looks great, kid is fresh out of high school and making plays on the dline like he is a second or third year guy. cant wait to see him at the start of the season after he's a full summer in our weightroom program...

how do the formations look, more play action and throwing out of pro sets, or still spreading it out to pass and packing it in to run? Any Ware/Gore wildcat?

Forgot to mention one of the biggest takeaways I had: the offenses pace was insanely fast. Lots of no huddle and up-tempto stuff.

Best synopsis I can think of for the offense: We're using Miles' playbook and Krag's tempo. I'm sure Krag is getting some new plays in, but what I saw today was clear evidence Miles has been dictating play selection, specifically last season. No shock.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing, IMO. The problem last season was far more a lack of execution.

Y'all really need to step back and take an objective view of this situation.

Miles and the fanbase have the same interests....winning football games. You are a fool if you think he is NOT going to play the player who gives him the best chance of winning.

Believe it or not Les Miles probably knows a few more things about football than the fine and knowledgeable folds on the Rant

His mobility has been a liability for the most part, not an asset. He runs when he should be passing .

I'm an idiot because I'd like to see someone else get a shot rather than the person who's been the SEC's worst QB for 3 years?

Then I must be too, because this statement is spot-on. I am tired of watching 5* receivers running free in the secondary while he ducks and runs when his primary option isn't at least 5 yards in the clear...
