So Kragthorpe is already working wonders with QB? I guess when you have Crowton coaching your QBs, anyone will look like a genius coaching them.

there are the extremists who always want the backups to play

there are the extremists who think every decision the coach makes is perfect

always fun to see these groups of idiots going at it

There fixed it for ya.
'09 and 10 was more about not being able to throw downfield as much as it was blocking. it will be the same this season unless JJ improves on this.

I'm an idiot because I'd like to see someone else get a shot rather than the person who's been the SEC's worst QB for 3 years?

No, but I do think that 1) it's WAY too early to be assuming that anybody won't get a shot to play in games that are 5 - 6 months away, and 2) it's not in the coaches' interests to play anyone other than the most capable players...and when has anybody accused coaches of anything OTHER than acting in their own best interests?

I'm convinced that he won't have the same opportunities as JJ

I think the criteria of "capable" in Miles QB job requirement packet contains a heaping helping of mobility. JJ will start, you can bet on that.

You realize you are exactly what you hate? You hate when people say anything negative about JJ but when someone says something positive about another QB you feel they are taking a shot at JJ and you get upset.... Why is that?

walk on OL in a spring scrimmage when JJ had to deal with it for a whole season without a green jersey on?
What season was that? 09... I can promise you that offense line was better than the one Mett was behind and to even compare them is laughable honestly. That season the O-Line was bad and Jefferson has issues with running backwards instead of forward which increased his sack totals.

I am not sure how you are related to JJ but you act like EVERYONE is mad about it. I think you have more of a complex than others.

I think whoever is the QB, will be on a VERY short rope. just long enough to hang themslves. Miles is not going to endure last year again.

Not sure about that. He thinks JJ's mobility is awesome. It's obvious the package of plays he want's to use relies on QB mobility.

TBH, if that's the package he's gonna use, then I want JJ to start too. Why start a guy like Mett or Lee if you're married to a package that emphasizes a running/athletic QB?

Jefferson can do things running that neither QB can do, however, I want my QB to throw the ball and leave the running to the backs. JJ is no Pryor, Newton, Ward, Frazier, he can scramble and pick up a first down and be elusive in the pocket but he needs to step up as a QB and throw the ball better. If he is starting then I hope Krag has worked with him and he doesn't regress to bad mechanics once games start. Good for him if he wins the job but Oregon game is what matters, I don't care about scrimmage or practice and who looks best.
