Nobody on here loves being average. Plenty of people who have rightly defended him against unfair criticism have stated that if he doesn't turn things around, a change will need to be made. At the same time, we were not going to fire him after winning 9 games. If you win 9 games, you deserve to have another season to get back to the top.

Like I said before Fla and Bama had nice guys as coaches that woUld win 9 games regularly they made changes how did that work out for them? Being average being picked fourth in your DIVISION!How the he'll can anyone defend that how? But this is the everyone gets a trophy win or lose generation. I miss people being scared of our tigers hating to come to BR. Now we are the butt of everyones jokes and a second thought program. Mr I love being picked fourth because our Coach is a nice guy. I don't want a nice guy iwanna beat peoples asses. But that's just me I don't teach my kids second is ok though or fourth.

Bama made a change after winning about 6 games one season and the coach they fired was never their guy on a long-term basis.

UF fired their coach after 3 seasons where he couldn't win more than 8 games. He was completely in over his head for that job to begin with and was only hired after Steve Spurrier made an abrupt resignation.

Doesn't mean shite. Only what happens during the season matters.

You sound like you're 11 years old.

It is not stupid wanting another Head Coach, what is stupid is wanting your team to do so that they will get a new Coach. If LSU does not win more than 7-8 games this year the ground swell is going to be the replacement of Coach Miles.

Now I want to give you another way to get another Coach and that is if LSU wins another NC ort 10-11 games then Michigan has a bad year again then they will come and get Miles to go up there.

Now which one would you like to see happen?

As for myself I could never bring myself to pull for my team to do bad because it does not only effect the fanbase or Coaching staff it effects the young men who make up our Tigers. That is my main reason for not hopping they do bad.

The number one thing that will go down is the recruiting and would be hard to rebuild back. It would take a few years to get it back to where we are right now. The other thing is there is no gaurantee that the new Coach that comes here will be any better than what we have now. All you have to do is go back to 1988 and look how many new Coaches LSU has had before Nick Saban came along and even he wasn't what the majority of the fan base wanted when he came in.

You tell me how are you going to replace a Coach with an average of 75% to 85% of winning their games. Any good Coach in his right mind will not go into that type of inviornment because they know that if they did not win all their games they would not last long anyway.

To pull for your team to loose their games is stupid and idiotic and if the shoe fits ware it and go pull for Bama. Because they are not going to go undefeated this year again.

I have said all summer long LSU will win 11-12 games this year and Miles will turnaround and tell the LSU fan base to go screw yourself while he goes to Michigan and I will laugh my arse off because I would not blame him. Since the BCS has started there are only two teams with 2 BCS NC's and LSU is one of them. Now you talk about a disfunctional fan base this is it. We have won more NC's over the last 7 years than anyother team in the Nation, Florida being the other, and we are holloring for a new Head Coach.

I think there were other coaches that could have turned LSU around. The whole key was to basically make LSU the only place 99% of the top LA recruits wanted to come. Saban helped bring us a NC in 2003 and I am grateful; however, I don't worship him for it.
I agree nor would we have the outstanding facilities with his vision. LSU is better off with a coach who wants to be here and not with a coach looking for greener pastures.

if you talked to some on here, Miles would have done the better job of rebuilding, starting in 2000.
