he is a cold, self-absorbed person that is uncaring towards the feelings of those outside of his immediate circle and indifferent at best. Why Bama fans believe that he cares any more about them and will not do the same thing to them in a heartbeat if presented with what he perceives as a better situation for him is beyond me.
Birds of a feather...

I really don't think he had a vendetta against LSU and that's why he chose Bama.
I don't think one person has ever suggested he did.
Part of his job after taking the job at BAMA put him in direct conflict with what he spent 5 years building at LSU. Should he be praised for that decision by Tiger Fans? Why should we continually praise him for his service here all the while he tries to destroy it by virtue of his new gig?
I'm not saying he should have been barred from coaching elsewhere in the SEC...just that he shouldn;t act surprised by our fanbase's reaction. All this feigning surprise by him is nuts.

The ONLY time CNS even mentions LSU is when he's ask a question. For, some reason this week, he is being asked a lot.
Mudhole!

That's not true.
He refers to his time at LSU quite often when trying to explain why this or that is done.
We did this during our NC season at LSU or we had this guy come speak at LSU.
He uses the NC years at LSU to show how it's going to get done.

That must really chap the asses of Bama fans whne Lil' Nicky holds up the LSU program as an example of how things ought to be!

I think that if you interviewed most fans around the country, it would come as a surprise that most don't agree with the hatred directed at Saban by LSU. Please don't say that THEY just don't understand our passion. Some fan bases are a little more passionate than others but at the end of the day, we are all CFB fans.
I have said it many times before that I don't hold any hate toward Saban. He came here and turned this program around and even gave us a championship and made us VERY relevant again. He also was the reason behind athletic upgrades that CONTINUE to pay dividends. If Saban is the guy that most on here try to make him out to be, why did anyone care when he left?
Most should have been happy since he never had more than 1 season where he lost less than 3 games and so forth.
The fact is he is without a doubt a VERY good college coach and IMHO would be an upgrade to Miles. That's not to say that Miles isn't good, just not as good as Saban IMHO. Who's a better coach is an opinionated discussion, there is no way to prove it to be fact one way or another.
I think we, as a fan base, should stop sounding crazy and let this hatred of Saban die. Who knows FOR SURE where we would be today had he not come here? He wanted to try his hand at coaching in the pro's, it didn't work out. He chose to come back to college and the LSU job was not available. 'Bama was available and was a GREAT situation to come into. He took it. If we have the better talent and coaching staff, like I hear on here everyday, what difference does it matter that he went to a rival school.
I think that SOME of the hatred is rooted in the fear of us slipping a notch in the pecking order of the SEC. No doubt it has gotten that much harder in this conference and in our division but we still have the athletes to compete with ANY team. There will be some years like this year, and some like last year. This is the SEC and no 1 team will DOMINATE like in other conferences.
One last question, if Miles were to leave and become the coach of Arky, who would care? Not many because we would still feel that we would beat the shite out of them. That's not the case with 'Bama and THAT'S why there is so much hate.

Yet, while at every stop he did everything he could to tell the fanbases that he was exactly that...right up until he left.
And after this season he'll take the money and run up to Washington to be reunited with Mark Emmert. That would be a smart move IMO. No pressure, no rednecks and a beautiful area to live in.........

And this matters...why?

And for those accomplishments, Nick Saban was rewarded time and again not only with the loaylty and respect of the full Tiger Nation, but with one contract upgrade after another. He's been thanked...

Because we had finally tasted success after a LONG time of irrelevency. Many Tiger Fans were under the impression that Saban was irreplaceable...you seem to be one of them. One of the best jobs Saban has doen at every stop he's been at is selling himself to the fanbase as just that...irreplaceable. No one is.

See above.

Does he get NO blame for the reaction of LSU fans? Maybe he could simply stop actly like a hurt school boy every time an LSU fan had something not so nice to say about him?

Because on the one hand you suggest we're still to be praising the man for basically creating what LSU is today...but on the other you suggest we're to turn a blind eye to what success at BAMA would mean to that very monster you give him credit for creating here. Saban winning at BAMA (an SECW school) hurts LSU. Period. He should have known that and understood that LSU fans would react harshly towards him because of it. Well...at least those fans not still under his spell.

Obviously...but do we not have the right to point East to T-Town and suggest that if LSU does slip some, that it can partially be due to the job being done by our former coach at BAMA? You know...the guy that loves us so much, etc?

Idiots who think our program is spiralling out of control because of two losses this year would not. Neither would those LSU fans smitten with the diminutive Coach Saban in Tuscaloosa. Football fans that understand that Miles is a quality coach would...the same as they realized that Petrino coming into the SECW did LSU no favors, either.
