Pleased post Shep's super awesome stats as a WR while at LSU.
Please post his super awesome stats in the NFL.
Shep couldn't catch nor run routes correctly at LSU. He played behind more talented receivers.
And he's in the NFL because he works hard and has been a ST warrior, not because he's been some diamond in the rough WR that was never used in college

Unfortunately we'll never know. Go look at his ratings as a QB coming out of high school and the teams that were recruiting him as a QB, stop being such an idiot just to create an argument. Go research and be educated on the topic, you're making a fool of yourself.
Why don't you do a little research and look at how many 4-5 star QB's don't pan out in college.

This
His time at LSU was perfect preparation for the NFL. He'll never have the best hands or routes on an NFL squad, he'll always be playing behind more talented recievers but he developed ways to be valuable to the team.

He's gotten better and is playing against better competition, he can make some plays for you when called upon. Happy for shep, he's making a career for himself

Would have been nice to she him get some reps when our QB's were struggling.

No doubt. Wouldn't have helped him towards the 3 year deal he just signed with Carolina though

yep, he has had an incredible pro career...next year he will probably get the franchise tag.....he is a journeyman wide receiver at best....

He's just not a natural in terms seeing the field and ball skills. Being forced to excel on special teams and in run blocking is actual why he is in the league still
quote:
He's on an NFL roster because he has an unselfish attitude (understands he's not going to get a lot of touches and can still help the team) and is a serviceable receiving threat that excels on special teams and getting his hands dirty in the running game
I would like to add that I think he would make a great football coach. his attributes translate well into teaching young men the game and the game of life. he also handles himself very well and with class. I noticed this early in his career and the fact that he is determined to max his ability proves to me that he will be successful after football.
