I watched Shep play varsity football 3 years at Cypress Ridge H.S. I probably saw 95% of his games. The Cy-Fair school district that he played in is one of the top districts for football in the Houston area. When Shep played there were 8 high schools in the district, now there are 10. That district is anything but weak at football. Shep is an amazing athlete by any measure and he truly deserved a chance to play more his first two years.

Not sure that the number of schools in a district is the best indicator of quality.

Who were the top players he competed against in his district and what are they doing now?
