Comparing apples and oranges if you think either JJ or JJ bring similar traits at QB as Shepard.

I'm looking forward to Crowton getting inventive using JJ and Shep in the backfield at the same time.

I agree JJ & RS in the backfield together at times will be great. The only way JL sees the field is if we have a sure win so that he can rebuild his confidence during a game or if JJ gets hurt.

yea because the success rate for freshman QBs in the SEC is so high, JL should be thrown under the bus dumbass

Wow, overreacting much. I mean seriously we all saw JJ was the more capable QB. OK yes he has a long wind up blah blah blah, but guess what hes yet to throw a pick six with that long wind up so Ill take it. He has a stronger arm, he much more aware of whats going on around him during plays, he mobile, and alot calmer in the games.

Its not cause JL played bad last year why he wont see the field this year, its cause JJ played alot better than JL and fits the Crowton style offense much better.

JJ also didnt face the tough SEC defenses that JL had too

JL faced UGA, UF, Alabama

JJ had a month to prepare for GT
and played bad against Ole Miss

I rest my case, no pick six.

ok JL played attrotious against UGA, and JJ played superbly against GT and blew them out, the same team which beat UGA.

Bama: Do I need to say more than the four picks. Sure one of those was byrds fault, but three is still alot, even for a freshman(well for anyone)

Sure he did, because Ole Miss has one of those tough SEC defenses, and since hes a freshman hes not expected to do well against a tough SEC defense. If the excuse works for JL, why doesnt it work for JJ . .

I'm not saying that Jarett Lee is an awful QB in these cases, just that between the performance i saw between the two QBs that are in the running for the starting spot, I think(its just an opion, no nead to get your brithes in a knot) Jordan Jefferson is the better of the two.

then it comes down to who is winning the job in the spring, would you be ok with that?

I guess, but momentum from last season definately carries over and so I still feel like JJ should be the starter even though Jarrett Lee has had some good days here in the spring. Im just not convinced Jarett Lee is "cured" yet, and ready for the SEC. I mean im tired of well its the SEC so its understandable and hes a only a spohmore now. The best i see in JL is a game manager, and JJ definately made some plays in the chickfila bowl that showed he can be much more than that. I mean JJ improved signifaicantly between the arkansas game and the peach bowl, so I can only imagine how much more he could improve over an entire off season.
