The dude really has had at least 5 drops that would probably add up to at least 100 more yards. I agree he's being misused terrible but it's hard to trust him to catch balls in crucial situations. Also, He can't run in between the tackles. He hada 50 yarder against UNC and a 40 yarder against Vandy. All we do is run sweeps with him because he has to go to the outside.

I love Shep as much as anyone and think he is a stud on and off the field, but it's not all the coaches fault. Yes, the coaches need to make some creative plays for him to get the ball in successful situations, but right now he's pretty limited on things he can do. Run outside or bubble screen are pretty much what he's limited to.

I really respect RS, but that pretty much sums it up.

I don't see him as an inaccurate passer, but then again I haven't followed him in practice for the past several months.

Loved the way he put his head down on that one play against the Vols!

Why not? I'd think that most coaches would try to adjust to having a shitty offense, and that would probably be one of the adjustments they would try if they had similar weapons. Not good old Les, though.
So you want to adjust the part of the offense that isn't a problem? The run game is all we've had. Perhaps your efforts would best serve the search for a QB and some WRs who can consistently complete passes. No?

Yeah me too. That whole organization is shite. I dont understand how anyone can be a fan of a team that is winless...I mean undefeated. But they havent won a NC in ANYTHING since like...'09, but FOOTBALL that was all the way back in...'07...and then again in '03...

WHATEVER they still SUCK!

Am I? "Everyone associated with LSU" Really dude?

You've left the realm of intelligent debate/criticism. Now you are just being a douche. You're better than that.

maybe you don't get it. i feel sorry that we have to suffer through a retard coach. that the coach has all this talent at WR and we have a retard QB who can't call a play on his own WITH THE PLAYS ON HIS WRIST. i feel bad for all the players who come here but watch as we run options to the short side of the field and throw 4 yard passes on 3rd and 12. and do i have to mention the clock management?

6.2 touches a game... how much do you think he is going to get the ball? that does not count what was thrown his way and he dropped. He's not getting more than 10-12 touches a game.

Russel Shepard Stats
He's, BY FAR, the most misused weapon in the history of college football. There's just now logical explanation as to why he isn't touching the ball 15-20 times a game. frick you Les.

Because our crazy fast running QB Jefferson gets those 15-20 touches in the option....and he is gaining a mind boggling 1.8 yds a touch....hahahah....you really have to laugh otherwise you will break something during the games.

You should probably also mention the much neglected fact that the recievers DROP A LOT of passes. However, going from what you, and many others, perceive to be poor QB play/ coaching to encompass "LSU" is a hasty generalization.

If what you meant is that you believe the coaches and the QB suck, you should've said just that.

Shepard is being totally mis-used. He should have been a QB from day one, he would have been much more effective in this offense with how much we use QB runs.

The way I see it is that if you commit to Lee as the passing QB then, Shepp must be your redzone running qb.
