Bottom line is that you can't win games if you have people like Ludwig on your team

Then don't recruit him.

We run the zone due to our lack of talent and athleticism on the perimeter. We were getting killed earlier in the year allowing teams to get into the lane with ease. Our talent is why we run the zone. TJ hates the zone and would much rather play man.

This should have been the thread ender.

would much rather a player of skill that may only be here a year or two, than have a player like Ludwig who contributes nothing on the floor

How many one and done players has LSU had in their history as a basketball program? I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with done.

I think it's all semantics but I get your point

He never logged minutes in a regulation game until the final 4 season. One and done to me

I've always thought it was funny that Maravich, Jackson, and O'Neal never played in the Final 4 but Ben Voogd SCORED

I'll always have love for Voogd. He got that team to sign me a ball for Christmas at the beginning of the season when we were pretty raw.

Such a polarizing player.

the blue hairs loved him. reminded them of the pistol with those passes (even if they didn't always find their intended target)

I honestly only remember a few really bad passes. I know when teams pressed he had some problems but outside of that I thought he was a pretty solid player.

I hate seeing an LSU team get totally out played and out hustled by a terrible team like ole miss. This team has some serious coaching issues.
I am not a basketball guru but after watching yesterdays game I dont understand how you can pen lack of hustle on coaching. At some point and time players have to step up and play with passion.
What I did observe was TJ going to the bench looking for someone to step up and ply like they have a pair. Also with Warren playing on a bum ankle trying to get things going shows me that there are a few players doing what TJ ask of them. Just my observation.
