Bama's saving grace was barely losing to a team at home

Do you even "better loss", bro?

I could get behind a 8 team bracket with conf champions

For sure. I would even like to see all conference champs plus a few at-large bids for a 16 team playoff.

Also, as far as BcS polls, they were shite. The coaches poll is such a joke. Since 2011 is always a favorite of ours, remember the midget voting Okie #4 in his final poll? What a scumbag and not a surprise that coaches show bias.

The media poll? Meh

The computers? Not as bad, but remember, humans programmed them. The computers did have Okie #2, so there's that

I am worried a bit about the committee too though. Hopefully they can show us this will be better.

Committees can always be lobbied and will always be bias. I sure hope this doesn't go to shite. I hope they take the regular season into account and not set up any rematches. That would have been very helpful a couple of years ago.

BCS was a better way

Actually, the original BCS formula was the best way. Remember 2003 when we won it due to "quality wins"? That formula was complicated, yes, but took into account who you beat, and who your opponents beat. You actually EARNED points for beating top teams.

I started a thread in 2011 after Bama was handed a mulligan after beating just four FBS teams with a winning record during the regular season.

Basically, the thread showed how the "BCS formula" and "rules" would change EVERY TIME A MEDIA DARLING was "screwed".

All this committee will do is what ESPN will want it to do. ESPN has owned the sport the last several years and they will now have an anonymous voting system they can corrupt. This won't be like 2011 where fans can point to what effed up group of new computer formula got them their way. Nope. A committee. Whose votes are anonymous. LOLOLOL

Get ready! Teams like Bama, ND, OSU, Florida, Texas, USC, will have completely different standards when it comes to qualifying for the final four. That's the way ESPN wants it.

Once again, I can't wait to be proven right while everyone sits in denial over the WWE like direction the sport is taking when it comes to blatant favoritism for the name of entertainment.
