He could be the Justin Blackmon of the 2013 draft class.

This is very possible!

More importantly, the Reuben Randle Emotional Moments thread, with one more year of photo ops, could become the largest thread in the history of TD. Talk about etching your spot in history.....who'd pass that chance up????

why come back to watch toss dive and the off tackle.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him return, help the team and possibly improve his draft status. However, there's no reason to believe that the offense will change.

Think Justin Blackmon but with better other receivers to take attention from the d and a stout running game. Wow. RR could blow up.

some of us don't like a coach pretty much taking 6 weeks off to nap instead of preparing for the national championship game? Silly us.

Disagree. When Miles had Russel and Flynn at QB he threw it about 30 times a game. At OK State some years he hardly threw it. But, when he had Rashaun Woods he threw it about 35 times a game and Woods led the conference in receiving for two years.

One that couldn't beat out JJ? One that couldn't get on the field when we had 1 FD in the first half against GA and 5 in the whole fricking game against Bama?

I hope you're right though, but if you're right, we have some really shitty coaches judging talent.

I hope so, but that would be an Olympic record in improvement. From not seeing the playing field behind one of the worst to becoming one of the best.

Honestly though, I think we could've had Drew Brees behind JJ and he wouldn't have gotten any playing time. That is just what pisses me off so much.

ESPN actually picked Mettenberger as their breakout player for 2012.

I am sure he has taken into consideration the possibility of injury deep into the season. That would drop his stock if not eliminate him getting drafted.

As far as him getting better and get more balls, yea I can see that if he knew he wouldn't get hurt.

From what I saw from Mettenberger, is he'll be better than Lee or JJ. And if we need the option, Randle will be it and he can throw better than JJ. So we have a potential big improvement there. We were one dimensional against Bama. They played us on the line of scrimmage daring us to throw. We'll throw with these new QB's.

Dmitch - Tell RR to take the money and run. CLM had is opportunity to utilize his stud wr in RR but chose to play the field of glory with his option qb and we all know how that faired on 1/9/12.

Right, its not like he'll be able to get good numbers like 53 receptions for 917 yards and 8 scores with a better QB.
