Almost makes it funnier that you think miles thinks he is above lsu because he doesn't play someone as much as you think he should

Plus it is really hilarious that you think mett would question coming to lsu especially since he is on an undefeated team and will be leading a national title potential team next season. That is ridiculously stupid.

i would not trust Les Miles to insert a verticle passing game into the play book

2005 2006 and 2007 called. Also oklahoma st with rashaun woods would like a word. With him bowe and buster thats 3 first round NFL guys off the top of my head. As for RR he will have a tough decision to make and one where you cant blame him either way. However the offense will open up if we can get CONSISTANT qb play.

You know what Les will do? I certainly don't. If Randle leaves, he will probably be making a good choice. Before this year he was basically wasted in the offense. I wouldn't blame him for leaving. He had a good year this year, but didn't get much last game, most likely will not vs Bama. I don't think anyone could blame him for leaving.

I agree it could happen with CONSISTANT qb play, but since 2008,2009, 2010,& 2011 (minus Lee's numbers) we have NOT sniffed CONSISTANT qb play. Les inherited a pretty polished system QB from Jimbo and has yet to put one on the field since 2007.

RR is a gifted athlete...I remember when he signed with LSU how excited I was. Unfortunately, he's never had the opportunity to reach his full potential here. I love his play, he's a dynamic WR. Honestly, it's a travesty that he hasn't been used more. Forget the Lee vs JJ bs, why are we not getting the play to him, or designing plays that fit his strengths? I think next year would be a change of pace, but who knows? If I were in his shoes, with that type of earning potential, can't say I wouldn't go pro. If he does leave early, he will be missed

Rueben Randle declaring for the draft?
Randle should definately leave. He'll be a mid round pick(3rd or 4th). He has received terrible coaching here at LSU, and unless Billy G is fired, it won't get any better. Randle has a great set of hands, but unfortunately, unless the QB throws it over his head/away from his body, he never uses them. Time and time again, you'll see Reuben attempt to trap the ball with his body instead of catching it with his hands. A few years of NFL coaching and RR will be an elite receiver in the NFL.

That's crazy. He will be a 1st rounder early 2nd at worst. All the NFL cares about is combine and he will do great in the combine. Scouts will recognize he had no QB after Lee was benched, and before Lee was benched he was leading the SEC in most receiving catagories. He's proven he can catch the ball and run after the catch. The combine will only confirm what they believe. It really doesn't benefit him at all to stay. And it really doesn't matter, he was gone anyway. If he would've kept pace and finished with 1800 yds he would still be gone.

Word amongst scouts at the SEC title game in Atlanta is Rueben Randle/WR/LSU will declare for the #NFLDraft

His brother said no such conversations have taken place..

He may put feelers out, just see what he needs to work on....RR will most likely stay

I agree Mett is enjoying the ride this year but what happens next year is to be seen and based on Miles and the QB we dont know what to expect or hope for in the future.

I can make a guess based off his history. His okie state teams and LSU prior to the current qb era werent afraid to throw it. Like I said Reuban has a tough decision to make and I wont blame him a bit if he leaves. My response was just to get rid of the myth that les hates throwing the ball because I saw it with my own eyes before 2009.

My folks still live in Bastrop and saw Reuben play pretty much every game he played in High School. My sister went down the stadium to film his announcement to play for LSU. i was so excited when we landed Reuben. Can't blame him if he goes. He would risk injury and frankly his talent, though greatly appreciated, was not used to it's full potential most of his career. Hope we can get get the ball to him against Bama.
