He is not complaining now. He is no college QB. Do you coach? Who says he is a QB? Early Doucet was a hs QB.Ruben Randall played QB in hs.Terrance McGee played QB.Mo Claiborne played QB.Why do you know more than the players and coaches? What was your college or hs position?

You have me confused with the other guy my man. I'm saying that RS moved to WR because he wanted to and that he was probably thinking about his future at least in part.

He made Darron Thomas look like a fricking walk-on in terms of QB play, and just look at Thomas now. Russell Shepard could have been an amazing college QB. Oh well.

Weak comparison

2 completely differnt styles of offense, not mention the the levels of defense he played against.

r.s. sees himself playing football after college. he figured the best way to do that was at wr not qb. d thomas, maybe he could have been a n.f.l. wr, however, his choice has limited himself to a college player.

I think Shepard is the kind of guy who could excel at a ton of positions.. you can't teach someone to be a fluid athlete.

You're another EA player typing on the internet.

So that's your reply to everything? I haven't played anything EA related since 2006. Come up with something new.

He is too slender to take the pounding at QB and cannot pass

Yet LSU recruited him as a QB the throughout the entire process. Once he committed he was then considered too slender and couldn't pass? Yeah, that sounds right.

Glad I didn't get involved in this thread Friday. I was as concerned as anyone, but unlike others in this thread (especially early on), I withheld hitting the panic button until more info came out.

After the recent report(s) on the handling of the Hicks situation, I feel pretty confident that those in charge of the program run a pretty tight ship. And that comforts me.

LOL at all of the overreaction in this thread, and everyone who thinks Les is wrecking the program.
