Need to root for Florida St big time. 11-1 Florida goes ahead of us for sure.
All gets iffy beyond that. I don't see Bama losing again, so they're looking like an 11-1 team going into the SEC. UGA has a bit tougher road, but they too look like 11-1. Do we at 10-2, get in ahead of 11-2? Maybe, if it's UGA, but not real likely. So root for Ga Tech to beat UGA, and then Bama to win the SEC. Then, the choices are between LSU at 10-2, Fla at 10-2 (and a loss to FSU), A&M at 10-2, and UGA at 10-3 and 2 straight losses. Also, don't sleep on South Carolina, they might be sitting at 10-2 too.
UGA would be out. A&M might be a backdoor deal to the Cotton. Carolina lost to both us and Fla. The choice comes down to us vs Fla, with them having a fresh loss. Hopefully, that choice doesn't go to the Orange, because I think they take the Gators.
There will be a lot of good SEC teams going to smaller bowls this year

La Tech to the Orange?
You just gave up 55 pts to a 1-AA school. If Texas State moved up, they are a first year 1A school.

Yeah defense sucks but if tech is 16 or higher in bcs and ranked ahead of louisville or nebraska/wisconsin then they get an automatic berth.
Usc
Ucla
Stanford
Nebraska
Louisville
Oregon st
4 of the above teams need to loss again.
Oregon st plays oregon
Ucla plays usc and the winner plays oregon
Neb plays wis in B1G championship
There are 4 losses there.
Its a possibility.

I know about the top 16 rule if ahead of a champ, but Tech ain't climbing in the polls after that win today.

Agreed.
I think Rutgers jumps them.

I didnt say today i said it had to be by the end or within the next 3 weeks.
Thats why i said its a possibility not a definite. Just like its possible lsu gets a bcs game but not a definite.
