They were back in 2002 and again in 2006. Lost both times though and missed out on a BCS game. They very well may not have traveled well but it attendance usually increases when going to a BCS game rather than going to the Cotton Bowl or another lesser bowl game. How much that will increase remains to be seen though....

Do any Arky fans have vehicles that will make it all the way to New Orleans? If so, who's gonna tell them how to get there? And finally, who's gonna convince them that the game is in that big round barn in downtown New Orleans?

Everyone is forgetting one point. The driver of the money behind the BCS bowls is money provided by the big TV contract. TV execs want the best possible ratings to please their advertisers.

Who has a better TV Quotient this year? LSU or Arkansas


LSU by far has a higher TVQ this year than the Hogs.

Maybe what will happen is Carolina beats Auburn,(not likely) and Arkansas doesn't get Sugar either.
