rivals preview shows LSU's "bumbling idiots" perception

today rivals has LSU featured as no. 15 on their list of all 120 teams.

nice picture here of terrence tolliver as LSU's biggest weapon.
apparently even our "biggest weapon" can't do anything right either. was there no picture available of him making a catch, running with the ball, something good?

seriously though, do you not see an article such as that one, and they choose to show our star weapon with the ball hitting our facemask and not think that it has something to do with peoples perception of LSU? I know there is some kind of positive picture they could have used but instead they went with that one.

One of the best posts and review for LSU football 2010. One missing prediction however:
LSU faces death and 2008 again if QB JJefferson knocked out and opponents know this, that is why ala. knocked out jefferson (deliberately I believe) last year. QB jlee is not an sec QB and is not capable of leading LSU and the players know this. Better to have R. Sheppard replace JJefferson if necessary, he could run direct snap or single wing type offense.

the saban quote and picture aside, the article is spot on. 9-3 plus a non-BCS bowl win would be awesome

yep I've seen plenty of articles discounting LSU and finding any reason under the sun to throw dirt on the program. Rivals is a gump run entity and the gumps can say what they want but, they are scared of the potential in Baton Rouge and are feeding negative press any chance they get. Conspiracy I tell you.

A 9-3 finish would likely mean that we finish no better than 3rd in the SEC West. I don't consider that to be particularly awesome.
I don't expect LSU to win the NC every year, but if we get to the point where we're not even in contention for the SEC title, then we have a problem.
