RISP and Walks - Lessons to learn

We need to not leave runners based loaded with one out. Bunt now and then. Coaches need to mix them
Walks. I don’t know if the umpire or we trying to throw perfect strike. We need to do better. Let them hit it but don’t be scared to throw a strike

I will agree with you that I would like to see some way of generating offense from this staff though. Get some guys in motion, hit and run every now and then and if we get a guy on it's not a bad idea for someone like Jordan Thompson or Cade Beloso to lay one down every now and then.

I've always said contact pitchers are better. Lot of ground outs pop ups.

Floyd has to be able to overcome a few distractions and missed calls by the homeplate ump. He was dominating through 3 innings and let the above completely cause his wheels to fall off. Really not what you want to see from an upper classman Saturday starter. I hate it for him that he’s not having a better season but right now he’s a guy you just hope the offense will compensate for what your probably going to get from him.
