Seriously man. If we get Jimbo, we will be assuring that that won't happen.

Just lost all validity. Its 2015, get over the damn 90's. You think the program is still as it was in the 90's? The facilitates, the stadium, money spent on staff, TAF. Get a clue.

I know Jimbo is at the top of the list but say he stays at FSU for whatever reason and chip Kelly stays in the NFL, what other coach is there? Dan Mullen? You think he can do better than Les? Honestly?

I grew up a Miami fan. Miami went through many coaches and saw success. LSU is the same, what killed Miami was their president trying to be more academic minded and screwed over football, which hurt their academics as well. LSU will be fine with a new coach, stop being pussies

I will say this...

Call me sentimental, but the day that Les is officially gone will be a sad day for me. Watching him in his presser for the fist time since all of this happened almost brought me to tears. Yea, yea, say whatever you want.

I became a die hard LSU fan 2003. I was a senior in high school. I had always been a fan for LSU, but it wasn't until then that I started getting really into it like my dad. I started keeping up with recruiting. I watched every game (of course) but sometimes my dad and I would watch them 2 or 3 times throughout the week.

I remember watching all of the Saban shenanigans with my dad regarding Miami and Alabama. I remember us being happy that we had a coach who stood by us when he could have left for his Alma Mater not once, but twice and chose to stay with us. I remember how much Les loved his players so much that (I believe anyway) he those to turn down the Michigan job so he wouldn't have to face them with that before a SEC championship game.

My dad loved Miles as the LSU coach. I know if he were here to see this,(He passed away in 2013) it would tear him apart.

The fact is that while Les had issues on the field, he was very successful in many other ways.He was a fantastic recruiter, he was great at firing up the players. He has had many teams here that played at a very high level.

Even with all of that, I do still think it's time for a change. It's time to try something different. But it will be an emotional parting for me because I feel like it's an era in my football life that is ending. My 3 sons have only known one LSU HC, and now that is coming to an end.

I'll just have to create an era for myself and my sons. Choose wisely LSU!
