Without kw and chuck, RM would have had a similar season to HARVEY WILLIAMS IMO.

I hope to see Murphy more in the slot and maybe catching some swing passes or tosses out of the backfield. I like him on the field, if some of the posters are right about him in 2010, and he gets the reps, I think he will be productive.

The thing about Murphy is that no one has seen anything out of him that says he should be playing over KW or CS. Part of that is that he hasn't played as much as the other two, but that's for a reason. Besides for running over some walk-ons in a couple spring games, Murphy hasn't had much game experience at all--maybe a couple carries per game here and there. That's it.

It baffles me how people say he's better than KW at this and better than CS at that and how if he would have more PT he would put up Harvey Williams numbers.

Just one view, but I think Murphy is our second back, behind Scott.
AND, he's a better change of pace back (and receiver) than KW.
Don't be surprised if he gets more touches than
KW.

I, for one, will be absolutely shocked if Murphy if, barring injury to KW, gets more carries. A lot of us expected KW to be the starter ahead of CS last year. KW is much more experienced and versatile than RM.

I do think that Murphy has a lot of talent and speed, but KW is just down-right dangerous! I believe that you will see Scott and Williams in the backfield together quite a bit this year. Both of them are good blockers and can play fullback. Both of them are a nightmare for a DB to see running in his secondary!!

he's been breaking out for 2 years now. I think he continues to break out without having much impact on the field.

"KW is much more experienced and versatile..."
Experienced, yes; versatile, no.
I've seen what KW can do. He has great support on this site, but IMO he has consistently underperformed.
If JJ continues to improve and we get real production from the passing game , it will help transform the running game. Scott certainly will be a beneficiary of this new dimension but, it could help Holiday and Murphy, especially.

not sure what you've seen from him so far that makes you say that, especially not with an exclamation mark.
