Eh looked like he was really going to take off after his sophomore year but it never really happened.

he is a very good college athlete, but in the pros you have to be a freak. I just dont think he is a "freak". He makes up for some weaknesses with his work ethic.

I hate this argument--based on this, Marques Colstons college qb should be an all pro

I think it's just the measurables. Not that big, not that fast. I wish him well and hope he finds a niche in the NFL.

Dickson is the kind of guy who should have learned to deep snap somewhere along the way. Play some TE, some H-Back, maybe fill in at backup FB and contribute as a deep snapper on special teams. You see guys like that hanging in the NFL. Regardless, go Dickson!

david Lafleur was a lst team all american and he was drafted in the lst round by dallas. I beleive if a team like Indy takes a chance on Dickson he could be a star in the NFL.

It's his size. He's only about 6'2" 240 lbs. He would have to be an H-back type in the NFL and he's probably too slow for that, he ran a 4.85 40.

this

now can he find a niche in the NFL? yes

i wish only the best for dickson. he was a really, really good player for LSU. he just may not have the physical tools for the NFL

This.

He was a decent college TE. No real future as a TE in the NFL.

Possibly, but do you feel this is likely?

He was a very good college player.
But on the pro level he's a little small and slow.
In my opinion, David Lafleur, Nicky Savoie, Robert Royal, Mitch Andrews and Greg LaFleur were all probably better.
