The Wilbon story's a fake. Even if Rich Rod's gone (which I, as an M fan don't want to see yet), you guys shouldn't worry too much about losing Miles. I'm pretty sure that ship sailed before RR got the job here. Everyone up here is enamored with Brian Kelly & Jim Harbaugh.
But they've never won a BCS national championship.

ND is going to beat you to the punch on kelly anyway

Think Michigan is way to smart than to pay the kind of money LSU is paying him. That is the biggest reason right there. He is way overpaid.
I'm not sure they'll have to match his current salary. Miles' heart lies in Michigan. As long as they don't low ball him too badly, I think he'd go.

Is it getting time to organize a march from Walk-On's to the stadium?
If UM comes after him....yes.
Great a parade to send him back up north with the rest of his kinfolk, yipee

i love how these tards spout off how harbaugh is a lock to um, makes me chuckle

Harbaugh needs to come down south if Miles leaves

Stanford can match any offer Michigan extends. Harbaugh's next step is probably the NFL anyway.

Think Michigan is way to smart than to pay the kind of money LSU is paying him. That is the biggest reason they are not going to seriously consider him. He is grossly overpaid. He would be a worse fit for them than he is at LSU. At least here he can rely on tons of true talent alone to win a few of the close games and a few more that with the "great" coaching that they would otherwise lose. Not to bash Michigan, I like them, but talent wise there is no comparison.

Les' style is actually great for the big 10. Plus he can recruit with the best of them. It is actually a good match

Totally agree. He's actually a great fit for UM. He'd retire at Michigan, and he's a "Michigan Man". If they hire Harbaugh, they'll be looking for another coach within three years when an NFL team gives him the right offer.

we should be gone, he had a QB like Mallet and he just throw him away
Posted on 11/17/09 at 5:17 pm to cardee2003
Mallett is not a spread option quarterback.
