Decided to rewatch the game and came away even more frustrated

We had multiple opportunities to really jump out to a double digit lead on ole Miss . That nuss pick when we were moving down the field our 2nd drive was such a momentum killer.

Was not a fan of some of Blake’s baker’s coverage alignments. I truly thot we would get more of the 3 cb look in woodland Pickett and Delane on the field together like we did vs Clemson. Don’t think we saw that set once which was baffling vs an explosive ole miss wr room. Baker opted to have spears manned up against their shifty slot wr in Lee. Spears is a damn good cover safety but asking him to cover an explosive slot wr is an unfair ask. On dime sets woodland should’ve kicked inside to cover Lee with Delane/pickett outside

We didn’t utilize Perkins as a spy nearly as much as we should. This game exposed west weeks’s lack of sideline to sideline burst there was one blitz where chambliss flat out ran away from him it was painful

Offensive run blocking was as bad on rewatch as it was live. Simply no nastiness or physicality in run blocking. At this point it’s gotta be coaching we had an elite o line last year that couldn’t run block either. Brad Davis is not getting these guys to play with force in the run game

Nuss has no power in his throws . All his passes look like a floating Duck. Either he’s more injured than the staff is telling us or he’s regressed heavily. The underthrown ball to Hilton was flat out unacceptable average division 1 QB’s can hit that throw was grossly inaccurate.

Pickett had his first welcome to the SEC game. Even Stingley struggled vs Florida and bama. There was bound to be a game Pickett looked like a freshmen. His tacking was poor and he was overly handsy in coverage. I will say his coverage was still tight when he was in press just simply got beat on some nice throws and catches. Kid will be fine tho

Pass rush was not good enough. The loss of reliford was noticeable at times we didn’t disrupt chambliss as much as we should have
