RIP, Uncle Tommy, Paw-Paw, and my daughter who died two weeks after getting her 2nd degree from LSU. We beat Bama 9-6 that year on her birthday and sang "Happy Birthday" instead of the Alma Mater.

I lost my dad 27 years ago. He brought me to my first Tiger game against Kentucky in 1965. I remember vividly listening with him to John Ferguson's play by play for the LSU / Notre Dame game that the Irish won 3-0. I think it was in '69 or '70.
He would be shocked to know that almost every LSU game is televised. Back in his day only a couple games a season would be televised.

I miss you dad. Twenty four years of going to games in section 11, row P, seats 3,4,5, and 6. four more years in the handicap section on the floor of the stadium. I still look at you tube for games in 1986 and 1987 so I can see us.
I also miss the stories of what it was like going to LSU in the 30's, fights with Tulane students at the games and living in west stadium dorm
