After eight years, why do y'all keep doing this to yourselves? It's really highly unlikely any other coach that replaced Saban would have LSU football at the level of success it is today.

And it's silly to get mad at fans that support and encourage CLM, as if they're the ones that made Saban leave LSU. CNS is the jerk wad that decided to take the job with an annual divisional opponent of LSU. Screw him, not LSU fans that support CLM.

When y'all figure this out, your LSU fandom will be much more enjoyable.

Les Miles = Larry Coker?

you really should throw the towel in and find a new team!!!!!
I mean only losing one or two games a year, year end and year out is pretty damn GOOD, no GREAT!!!!

U can not be a true TIGER!!!!

Anyone who honestly made this comparison proved their ignorance.

The sad part is this comparison still went on after Miles beat Coker 40-3, of course like almost every LSU win Miles was given little to no credit for it.

this is a pretty stupid statement. these years have been very good but clearly they could be even better down the road. Les might currently be the best head coach we have had but who is to say the next guy or next one wont be better and pull off something like 3 titles in 4 years.

Lester Earl fought tooth and nail for John Brady back in the day, yet for some reason he constantly chides LSU football coaching. It's rather ironic.

and most others would probably credit the water boy before crediting Miles for a win.

Looked pretty damn close after going 8-5 then 9-4 the year after

08 we finished the year on our 4th string QB.

09 we finished the year on our 4th string RB.

This gets overlooked all the time.

In 09 LSU's 4 losses came to #1 and #2 in the BCS heading into the SEC title game, an utterly abominable mentally handicapped finish at Ole Miss that shouldn't have occurred which warranted a great deal of anger towards the coaches, and a 2 point bowl loss in shitty weather.

4 losses suck, but with clarification it wasn't unforgivable.

2008 was the worst year the SEC has been in the past 10 years.

Bottom line is there are some people who will never approve of him. And that's their right to have their opinion

When you can't approve of a guy who has had more more success at LSU than 99% of the coaches in the game during his time here, you are an idiot or a troll and it's my right to call them that.

I blamed him for the NC game. Some of you will give credit to anyone but Miles for a win.

But I do admit that I blamed Crowton for the time management issues. My bad......oh wait.

More like moronic...
If they would just hire the Curtis coach and only recruit from JC he would be happy

if you think andrew hatch was lsu's best qb in 08, i don't know what to say.

lsu won the nc with their 3rd & 4th string rb. by the way, in 08 it was play calling & defense that was the problem. not the qb situation
