Regardless of how this plays out...

It just feels great to be relevant between the end of football season to the beginning of baseball season. We’re typically pretty good in those two sports. So to actually have a great hoops team to watch for 3-4 months and not have a drop off in LSU sports feels amazing. I went back and watched some games from the past 4-5 years and it’s night and day from what we have on the court and sidelines today. Here’s to a helluva ride the next 3-4 weeks!

Yes, but the thought of this being taken away from us and going back down the gates of hell in basketball has my stomach sick.

That's exactly how I feel right now. We just got a small taste of what's possible with Wade here as our HC. This basketball team with him at the helm is a force to be reckoned with.
It will be an extremely hard pill to swallow if it's all taken away from us and LSU basketball returns to its uninspired former self.

i’m not worried about the NCAA taking shite!! whatever happens happens, there’s no taking it away. they can claim the season is vacated, whatever. i just don’t wanna lose will wade.

That's pretty much what I was saying. Taking away the SEC title and all the wins is fine just long as Wade stays here.
What he's accomplished here in 2 short years is nothing short of incredible and it's scary to think he's just getting started.

Don't want to lose Will Wade, that ship has sailed. Will Wade doing his own dirty work, will haunt him the rest of his life. All he had to do is get a fall guy to make this phone call, can't fix stupid.

I hope we don't lose WW. I think he's a great coach, and it's actually fun to watch LSU Basketball again. I'm hoping that he get's around all this and gets back to coaching my Tigers again soon. I'm with ya CWW!

I really don't understand this either, figured he would be much smarter than that...
That said, if we get penalized, accept the penalties and move forward with him still as the HC. I can guarantee if we fire him, the next guy won't come near doing what we are doing now and will have a cloud over his head from this administration.
