Which current freshman who lost their redshirt will we be wishing was available in 4 years? This is assuming that one will leave after 3 and would have played through a RS-Junior season. Did we get enough production from each player that lost a RS? Would it have made any difference on our record?

Hatcher, Peterson. Both played small roles. Would have liked them to retain their redshirt.

Ryan Baker. I'm not saying he shouldn't have played this year because I would have liked to see him play LB more, but we always appear to be in need of LBs. To trade his redshirt year playing special teams on a 7-5 team instead of his senior year on a potential national championship contender seems like a loss.

PP is a tough one. I'm sure promises were made.

Peterson did not play a small role. He was in on as many snaps this year as Jai Eugene.

Agreed. A little more weight and we are probably talking about (at least) a 3 yr starter at lb. Again, I'm assuming the worst case where they leave after 3 years.
