Beating Bama all but garuntees an extension for Joe Alleva, as his contract is set to expire. He’ll gladly stroke that check.

That would actually be pretty hilarious.
But for the fans in attendance it’d be a special moment they wouldn’t forget if they storm the field after all the heartbreak against the Gumps over the past decade. It happens so rarely too. Getting to do that is one of most favorite LSU football memories. I still have the ticket stub and tiger eye grass in a jar in my office

The last time I can remember an opponent’s fans storming the field was when we played at Kentucky and the fans started streaming onto the field just as Devery Henderson scored the winning Bluegrass Miracle touchdown. OOPS!!
