Optimism is for Sunshine pumpers , we demand results
As if results matter to negatiger fans who will never stop trashing Miles. Les Miles has kept LSU winning or always in the running for the sec title, doing so with the toughest schedule. Oh...... but anyone could keep it going at LSU you say. Sure they can........ just like at the mega programs USC and Texas. Assholes.

Like a Qb, defensive players need certain cognitive skills and levels of composure when needing to react and make quick decisions.
This either exists or does not, and when it does not, only significant experience can allow it to be developed and displayed (even then, it sometimes never develops. much like a Qb who never develops pocket presence or field vision).
It is apparent that there are several players who are far from certainty in development of these skills/abilities. In addition, our defense is a lot slower than the last few years.
As such, we should not expect to just have these guys turn the corner real quick.
But, Chavis will do his best !
