1. Turnover margin is +5. The next best it's been (through 2 games) since 2009 was +3. That's including 2011.
2. Sacks (9) and tackles for loss (16) have been better through the first two games going back until 2010 (10 and 21).
3. YDS/game is only 35 yards off of 2011 August. and 15 yards ahead of 2010 August (we combined for 3 losses those two years)
4. Red zone scoring percentage is 100 percent (hasn't happened through the first 2 games since 2015)
5. We've only had 23 plays (13 passing - 10 rushing) where we have been tied in a game. We've had 67 plays while leading by 15 or more. Which is 14 more than the 53 plays we had while leading by less than 15 (WHICH COULD CERTAINLY LEND ITSELF TO A VANILLA LOOKING OFFENSE).
6. We've only given up less than 17 points through the first two games twice since 2008. In 2017 when we played unranked BYU and FCS Chattanooga (gave up 10) and in 2008 when we played App State and North Texas (gave up 16).

Arandas D and ST’s have been lights out. Those two along could cause AU some major problems. Our punters have been as good as we’ve seen n a long time. If we don’t score early They need to at least move the chains and get AU backed up deep. I feel like whoever has the offesne deeeeep in their own territory early could change the game. Keep the starting field positions like they have been the first two games and we got a shot.

The stats don't say that one way or the other. They do say that you can have great years while looking completely overwhelming on offense through the first month of play.

The difference in the 2016 Auburn game was their kicker.

I feel Stidham is a sitting duck for our defense.
