Do you really think so? JJ has experience, Mett does not.

Consider the coaching staff

Not who deserves it but who will start

so you have concluded that mett is better than jj and that mett deserves to start and that our coaching staff will not start him. all of this because you are smarter than our coaches and have more knowledge of what happens in practice.

i think LSU will start the qb that gives us the best chance to win. they did it this year and they will do it next year. they will have the bowl practice period, spring football and fall practice to determine who is the best. of course, miles could always just call you to find out who he should play.

I wonder how many threads regarding Mett/Jeff will be started between now and the Oregon game next year?

I really hope they just go off of talent, who grasps the offense better and who puts us in a better chance to win. Not just play JJ or JL cause they are seniors. Clearly they are not the ones to get it done and take us to the next level right now. But, we'll see, maybe Mett pushes them to excel their level of play.

There are conditions he must meet such as learning the playbook and actually out playing JJ and JL in the spring but I do believe he will be the starter when we line up against Oregon.

I wonder what Jefferson will say if Mett beats him out of the starting job. Jefferson thought he played well in the Arkansas game.

I have no idea what he will say, but I'd bet you million bucks the face he is going to make.

one thing is clear, if JJ starts it will be because of either senior bias or that Miles doesn't want to hurt JJ's feelings. If Mett starts it will be because Miles promised him the starting job during the recruiting process, which will suck because he didn't have to earn it. If Lee starts it will be because Miles wants to stick it to the TAF bigwigs for making him keep Crowton.

I used to be a JJ supporter, but he's proven himself to be a selfish player I still can't beleive he compared himself to Vick...

JJ - has gotten worse every year - BUT leave it to Miles not to play this kid since he has a huge problem getting the talent the ball - Shep - Randle

Here is what will happen:
JJ will start and play like crap, everyone will be screaming for Lee.
Lee will start and play just a little better, only continue his silly mistakes and the offense will not improve. Everyone will scream for Mett.
Mett will play and he won't set the world on fire, he will look confused and he will lack confidence, we will see the same issues JJ and JL have...... everyone will give him a pass saying he's young and its his first year. While no one accepts the fact we have a shitty QB coach.
