Stop being a douche. That makes no sense and you know it. You know what my arguments are, and you are pretending that they are something else because you don't know how to respond. Just admit it.

He didn't dig that hole,

YES, any QB gets immunity. Even JJ

I actually thought bringing in JJ on the goal line was OK, even after he didn't get in.

if he came on here talking both QBs up, but instead, he has to talk shite about both of them as a way of showing how even-handed he supposedly is.

An opinion that is reasonable until one, or both, of the QB's proves otherwise.

I thought it was 4th and 9? Oh wait...
Kidding... I thank God that he hit that pass and it was damn good too. And that was a great drive we had there with Lee.

Really? Does your inability to recall perhaps intefere with your judgement of our QBs?
quote:
1-10-LSU14 (4:00) Stevan Ridley rushed for 28 yards.
1-10-LSU43 (3:57) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete.
2-10-LSU43 (3:57) Russell Shepard rushed for 9 yards.
3-1-TN48 (3:04) Stevan Ridley rushed for 2 yards.
1-10-TN46 (3:04) Richard Murphy lost 13 yards.
2-23-LSU41 (3:04) Jordan Jefferson passed incomplete.
3-23-LSU41 (1:46) Jarrett Lee in at quarterback. LSU was penalized 5 yards.
4-28-LSU36 (1:46) Derek Helton punted for 58 yards. Eric Gordon returned a punt for 21 yards.

I wouldn't even mind so much if he wanted Jefferson to start if he came on here talking both QBs up, but instead, he has to talk shite about both of them as a way of showing how even-handed he supposedly is.
My opinion is invalid because I think both are bad.
quote:I agree with this, in the context of this season.
You know, maybe they aren't the greatest talents around, and maybe they have been ruined by bad coaching on an individual level or whatever, but the main point I want to get back to is that we need to gear our offense towards a real, legit passing attack, and that our coaches were starting Jefferson BECAUSE they refused to do this.
quote:It bothers me a little. Other than that I agree.
It's not Jefferson starting that bothers me, and I really don't even mind him starting against Florida so long as Lee gets a lot of playing time too.
quote:I agree with that in the context of this season.
Mostly, what bothers me is people defending the indefensible which is the coaching staff's idiotic and deliberate decision to shut down LSU's offense and let other teams' defenses tee off on us.

1-10-TN46 (3:04) Richard Murphy lost 13 yards.
These are why JL had to throw past the LoS?

Well, I still think the coaches designing a lengthy 1.5-year detour into a degenerate offensive scheme was an inexcusable blow to LSU's program, no matter how bad they wanted to limit mistakes or create a protective bubble for the new QB to try to live inside, but nothing we talk about tonight is going to change the past, so on this note...
... I think we can just call it a night.

It was a lot to ask a guy who had been on the bench most of the year to get off the headset, run unexpectedly into the situation, get the play off, avoid a sure blitz, scan the routes while rolling out, pick up the downfield marker, and throw to the WR.
He lost sight of the marker. Not good, but far from terrible.

I totally agree.
I can live with 4 INT's tomorrow and an embarrassing 41-14 loss. I cannot live with a 17-6 loss where the QB has decent stats but the offense never had the balls to put everything on the line for a win. That's my stance.

Jefferson will never be worth a frick because he was babied. Lee has been through the fire. You have to trust him

JJ could have been so much more than he is right now. . .as could Lee. Our coaches got scared after 08's pick-6 jamboree, and it has affected everything since.

What?
Up to that point LSU had run just 6 series. Lee was in on only 2. And in each series the QB who started, finished. NO one subbed in for the other. Lee was in no way expecting to be thrust into a 3rd and 23
