When you see how hard Hailey and her dad worked, and then Kobe, trying to replicate that for his daughter, it just hits home a little bit more because the accident happened trying to get Gina to her basketball tournament. Because Kobe was trying to be that dad. Breaks your heart.

Mulkey really has done what I previously thought was impossible. I'm a guy who doesn't watch the NBA and thinks women's sports are generally painful to watch, but dammit Mulkey has me legitimately interested in watching women's basketball.
