Ummmm. Saban has the same amount of nattys and Sec titles at LSU as miles in less than half the time coaching here. Saban 5 years miles 12 years. It ok though. I realize you are going down with the USS MILES ship.

Using juat the nfl isnt smart. Tim tebow doesnt count for Florida's nfl talent. I guess he wasnt talented.

Also, players drafted from 2005-2012 have nothing to do with the lastv3 years

And all that nfl talent has given us the best tenure in lsu history so lets not actvlike we have nothing to show for it. Lsu can not get a bama level of winning. The decision makers at lsu do not go all in like bama does with football. Take last off season for example.

And this is the most bullshite myth ever started about saban at lsu.

Saban walked into a program littered with future nfl players and some of the best players, at their positions, to ever wear p&g.

FYI...Miles' tenure is not the last 8 years

True. The last 8 years are only 73% of his tenure. After this year, it'll be 75% of his tenure that we are middle of the pack in the SEC...

...and dropping.

Saban was a miracle on Markham away from 3 straight sec west titles 2001. 2002. 2003. Because we had 3 losses in 2001 is a poor argument. The argument is titles regardless of record. We've said that for years and years but too many here are hooked up on overall wins and empty wins and Records. Can you imagine how saban would have done had he stayed? More nattys plain and simple.

Then why fire Miles if that is the mentality of this program? Why not just leave the SEC and join the Sun Belt and enjoy not playing for anything?

Please explain how the 2nd most sec wins and 2nd most overall wins means we are middle of the pack in the sec.

Look its time to kove on but the constant need for people like you to shite on the last 11 years is fricking stupid. Youre a lsu fan. Stop shitting on some of the best 11 years in lsu history. Who gives a shite who the coach was during the 11 years.

Youd have to ask the decision makers.
I never said i was in favor of their thinking. I was on board with getting Jimbo.

his sec record since 1-9 and especially the last 3 years is a huge sign. Mediocre record for the ones who like to pump his record. If he had more than one west title the last 8 years we wouldn't care about that record either but that record is the one directly related to winning the west. Not overall record. The guy could go 0-12 and still have a great overall record.

We lost 4 games in 2002.

No its not. Miles doesnt coach in a sec west where 3 losses wins you a title.
The sec saban coached in was shite compared to the sec of today.
If miles were allowed to win the west with 3 losses or less we would have 8 west titles under miles.
in 2001 the 2nd best west team had an overall record of 7-5. to act like they coached in the same level of sec west is just dumb.

Why are you making these dumb deductions? Please show me where i said that. Do i need to list all the future nfl player saban had on his squad in 2000& 2001.

Im not saying Miles didnt inherit a better situation but this notion that Saban inherited a program without talent is wrong.

Saban's tenure= 16 losses 12 conf losses

Miles last 5 years= 15 losses 12 conf

Please explain the math youre using.

Did saban leave miles with an oklahoma state program?

I can't believe I'm typing this again. WE WERE THE MIRacle on Markham away from winning the west in 2002 regardless of record with a crap QB! THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT THEEE STRAIGHT SEC WEST TITLES!!!! If u wanna bash him for Sec record then have at it for 2001 and 2002 I'll take the title thank u very much. He was wasn't handed the team from retardo that he handed miles. You think he woulda kept having 3 loss sec teams had he stayed? Lolololololol. This conversation is now over. Go ahead and go down with the USS MILES LIKE CHOCTAW AND beefense! Good luck!!!
