For all you people saying most of us are negatigers well its time to take of your purple and gold glasses. If you think we are overreacting then you had better check yourself. I have heard that the most improvemet comes from the first game to the second game. We'll bad news we looked just as bad from the first game to the second game. If Vandy receivers don't drop at least 2 td passes we are 1-1 this morning. We had a few moments of hope but for the most part this team has no fire no leadership. Defensive tackling is horrible and mind you we are giving up chunks of yardage against Mighty Vandy and Washington. We will be lucky to make it to 8-5 this year because sad to say almost every remaining SEC team we play has good runners and passers. This group of LB's has no playmakers they are constanting being blown back 10 yards from the play leaving the DL or the Db's there to make the tackle. Watch the film but the last 2 weeks they have played horribly. Offensively Crowton has not thrown down field it doesn't help that our supposely Strong OL has not lived up to expectations. The screen where the Receivers don't block has been perfected the last two games and the playmakers have not been given the ball. I may be a negatiger but if you think this team can compete against alabama and florida hell even auburn or ole miss then you are mistaken. My prediction if we continue to play this bad is 7-6 and les miles on the hotseat!

yeah i watched missed tackles ,wr's not blocking,OL getting beat constantly , LB's not even making plays and Vandy gift wrap a victory to us by constantly dropping big play passes. If you think we are good enough to beat florida , Alabama and ole miss then you are just plan stupid.

Did you actually watch the Vandy game?

Their longest offensive play was 14 yards. They had 88 total yards passing. 210 total offensive yards. 4 for 15 on third downs. Yes, tackling still seems to be an issue, but that was an impressive defensive performance against Vandy, no matter how you slice it.

We didn't play Ole Miss, Alabama or Florida last night.

You see, that's what coaches do. They create a gameplan to beat the opponent they actually play. Not one that satisfies your fantasies about winning 49 - 0.

Yes, there were drops by Vandy and the OL needs improvement. But the D gave up 7 points and 210 yards. The O gained 326 yards. We won TOP 36 min - 24 min.

Florida, Alabama and Miss are very good teams. They will certainly be tough games.

I guess your expectations are that we are the best team in the country every year.

Guess you missed the part where our D held them to 7 points.......%27 third down efficiency........210 total yards........ 3 yards per play.

You are right, we didnt look as crisp as we would have liked but give me a break! No improvement?

Go back and watch how many big plays Vandy missed on where the receiver dropped the ball without a defensive back even covering them .They lost at least and extra 100 yards and two TD's because of this Florida and ole miss will not do the same. At this point we will lose to Auburn and UGA.

I thought that was the goal of all the top teams every year. I guess what your saying is that LSU is not one of the top teams but for me i expect more of the tigers and they have yet to show it

Couple of questions just for giggles...

1. Does your profession have anything to do with sports?
2. Did you play college sports?
3. Did you graduate from LSU?
4. Have you ever coached sports at any level above pee-wee?

Not trying to put you down, just trying to link your thought process with something logical.

last time I checked Vandy is a good team with 18 returning starters that beat Ole Miss last year, who by the way, smoked us at home....and all the pundits kept talking about how good their defense is.....so, you need to go back and do a little research before posting crap like that.
