I agree but one can hope. Check out what Richt said:

He's the head coach, why not call plays? Just seems like oh I wish I could coach qbs and call plays again. You are the freaking head coach of the team, why couldn't you be involved in that?
Maybe that was directed towards his former boss. I really don't know. It's as if he was saying he didn't have control over that.
