LSU is slightly above average but no longer elite. It’s a fact many can’t accept.

Was at that game, other than being at Lambeau, it was brutal.

The whole point of this thread is to explain past feelings...I’m over it man.

I actually feel pretty good.
1. Pumped to see Stingley play for the Tigers INTs and PR TDs expected
2. Emery and Davis will be a dynamic duo running behind King Kardell
3. Excited to see how Burrow does with a full offseason with the team
4. Interested to see how much our young talented WRs have developed
5. Excited to see how our Top 3 class will finish
6. Really interested to see how the 2020 class builds with all of the Cali rumblings
7. Optimistic Rosenthal can be the OT we need
8. Optomistic Cregg can improve the OL with the added depth and talent
9. Despite serious concerns with OC, I'm optimistic he can produce a much improved gameplan with all of the weapons at his disposal
10. Lastly, excited to see what Aranda does with Stingley, Brooks, Starks and Ika added to an already loaded D

Did you even read the thread? It’s a BAD feelings discussion...

Officially opened the door to Dabo Sweeney's Clemson Tigers in 2012 and they have never looked back
Lsu losing the peach bowl in 2012 to Clemson has little to nothing to do with Clemson’s current success. Dabo slowly built that beast up for years and years.

Yeah I know it won't go over well. Sorry to hijack the thread with positives looking ahead vs wallowing in things we can't change from the past.

Wisconsin in '16 was brutal. I was in complete shock after that one. Man, Harris was so bad
I remember seeing Harris lose his shite, screaming at a OL-man, think it was early in the 4th quarter. That's when I knew we were going to lose that game.

losing to them at home
^This. I hated losing that game to Florida in 2016. That sucked big time; we could have beaten them on the road that year if the game had been played when it was originally scheduled.
The only other loss as gut wrenching as this was the day after Thanksgiving in 2007. Of course it was all forgotten 7 days later, but the night after that loss I really began to doubt LSU's stature as a team.

Harris lose his shite
That carried over to the next week, vs Jax State at home! LSU was being dominated by the FCS Gamecocks (they had 200 yards offense in little over a quarter) before Les came to his senses and inserted Etling.
The team quit on Harris after the Lambeau debacle.
