Two years of unranked on-campus BB recruiting classes at LSU is unnacceptable. We had a great class in 2007 - Renaudo, Gibbs, LeMahieu, Landry, etc. #1 class I think.
But look at who in the SEC was ranked in '08 and '09 and you will see why LSU has fallen to 9th place.
This year's class - '10 - was ranked #2 I think. Can you even imagine what this year would have been like without Gauseman and McCune?
College Baseball programs like LSU cannot afford unranked years if you expect to have a chance to host and get to Omaha every year, especially competing in the SEC.
