I've read many forums and without question, our fanbase has as many fragile, misinformed jackasses as any in the country. We're only rivaled by the Gumps.

VERY well stated. 
I love how some people find it ok to talk nasty about players, coaches, high school athletes, etc and get pissed when someone calls out their negativity. He is probably in the group of "fans" that boo our team during games. How do they think that this does not have a negative impact on visiting recruits?

The only benefit from bothering with this is for those fans that sit on the sidelines of these arguments and wait to see which way the wind is blowing before forming an opinion. To not speak up when "fans" are essentially tearing the program down because of their desire to "keep it real" would be tantamount to agreeing with them.
Those who want to hate Miles, the players, or the state of the program (I can't even fricking believe I just typed that!) etc will not be swayed and will need to be routinely dealt with, unfortunately.

I love the Tigers but sometimes I get sick & tired of the Sun shine pumpers that try to blame the fans for the poor Coaching or no game plan!!!
