I know we keep saying we want JJ to throw the ball down the field; however, today I would think quick throws will be our offense's best friend. TT, Lafell, RR, and Shep (yes shep as a WR) can make plays in the open field against the better defenses.

It will get JJ's confidence up and make the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man bust a lung running around.

I agree. Let BL, TT, RR, RS, and Dickson catch quick ones and make some YAC

What? You know damn well Jefferson only knows how to run. Jefferson is the key to losing. We need Lee.

I hope this is sarcasm. TOs are the key to losing and TOs are Lee's specialty.

Alright but don't come to me when he keeps taking sacks and running ball when there is nowhere to run. I got a feeling this is like the Florida game. Great defense with Jefferson getting owned on the field.

Agree 100%,Bama has been susceptible to the quick slant all year.LSU definately has the matchup advantage with their WR.Its just a matter of JJ hitting the target.

I'll take a sack over a pick six any day. JL never took sacks bc he would just through the ball into coverage (usually a safety or LB jumping a route) which is why he had such a high # of pick 6s.

You can't be serious? If JJ gets rid of the ball quickly - see first two series of the Auburn game - we will have success on offense. Lee can cost you the game, JJ will not with the appropriate plays called.

I remember when he ran our D LSU had the most trouble against hurryup offenses. Also the FB middle of the field pass was always open against Nicks LSU D & the TE would get big yards as well. Also with the man coverage he likes to use, the big play downfield to the one on one WR is always there.

Quick passes do not stretch the defense... nice try though.
